    Electric whining noise

I took a sharp turn yesterday and yanked my input cord out of my sub amp. Now I get a whining noise when the car starts and gets louder in acceleration. It sounds like its coming from the alternator but I don't know. Any thoughts?

If it ain't broke, i'm still fixin' it.

what input cord? do you have a stock system? after market HU? 4ch?

usually what this means is there is a loose connection or mostly a bad ground somewhere
