    Code 41 and 43

Code 41 and 43, EGR and Fuel Injection. I'm more interested in the fuel injection one. What could cause this problem in your opinion, a bad fuel injector? If that were so, I'd expect the motor to run different than before.

OBD1 codes blow. Atleast obd2 codes tell u specifically which injector has the error. Its probably a bad injector, or could just be a fluke, I always clear the codes and see if it comes back instantly or within the next day. Only obd2 injector errors are circuit malfunctoin, and injector timing control.

I have had both of these codes... the egr code is a failure of the egr solenoid that is mounted on the firewall. It has all those little black vacum lines with the dotted stripes on it. takes five minutes to change and cost is $110. The fuel injector code could be a fouled injector, but how many miles you have. . . possible fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator causing faulty code.
