How to program Keys + Remotes for 2005 Galant?

Hi all,

I'm looking for some help for friends of mine that due to somebody's selfish actions, they no longer have their 2 regular keys or remotes. They only have the valet key for their 2005 Galant.

Other than the dealer, what is the cheapest way to replace and program 2 new keys and remotes with them only having the valet key?

For the keys: Could they have the dealer program one more key, and then use the valet key plus the normal key to program a second regular key? I assume you could get the keys off ebay/similar?

For the remotes: Are they able to buy two remotes off ebay and program them both without the dealer? I've read about having to connect a couple pins together somewhere, but I'm not sure, I'll have to go back and find the information.

I have done this before to add a 3rd key on a 2004 Dodge Caravan that we had a while ago, and I assume that the process would be similar for the Galant.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
