    Concern about evo brembo swap

So I just finished my evo brembo swap. I've noticed that when I'm braking and almost coming to a stop, the brakes make a loud squealing sound. I don't know what's wrong...pads are new and rotors are new also. Is this normal? What things should I be checking on? Is this an issue with the pads and rotors or with the caliper itself? Need help ASAP guys, I know alot of you have done this swap. Thanks.

pads plays a big role, did you install race type pads or oem pads? race pads will squeal. OEM would have been fine for you, also make sure you use the shims or if the old ones are worn out replace them with new ones. lastly get yourself (if you havent already) a bottle of copper anti-sieze and spread it on the back of the pad and shims this will help eliminate the squealing.

    welcome to my hell.

i tried everything from grease, sprays, new pads, new rotors, new shims, re sand the rotors/pads, re bed.. bahh. they only work for the first few minutes then comes the loud squeel.

There is one more thing on the caliper. there seems to be this metal parts that guides the pads on its ends and it seems to be replaceable. hmmm

try Project MU "B-Force" pads, with copper anti-seize paste on the shims and pad backing. its what i use and i only get a squeal once in blue moon. low dust too, there available at RRE.

Ive read good things about the axxis pads. I have the hawk hps' but mine only squeal a few minutes after I really get on them lol. Regular driving they are fine, squeak here and there.

--i think its between the rotor and the caliper. either of the two. i think you should replace it though.
