    Anyone ever blown a set of KYB's?

    Just curious, I've had my ride slammed (lowered it about 2-3", the top of my tires are right at the lip of the fender) for about 5 months now.My GR-2's seem to be holding up well. Just wondering if anyone has ever blown their after market shocks.

    Any shock will blow out eventually, they don't last forever. My rear KYB's still feel as stiff as they ever were, but my front Koni inserts feel as though they may have become a hair bouncier than when they were new. It could just be my imagination, but I'm pretty sure they are starting to wear out. I'm waiting for the Tein Super Street Dampers, then my current setup will be gone.

    The front is lowered 2.25" and the rear is lowered 1.8" on a V6.
