blender door actuator question

I have a 2003 Galant and recently was informed by a mechanic that my blend door actuator was no longer working. I was wondering where exactly the blend door actuator is located and how I can get to it. Also, does anyone know about how long it would take to repair this? Thank you!

Is this because when you turn on the heat, you don't actually get heat out of the vents? There are actually 2 actuators that control our blowers. One actuator controls the heat and cold (this one goes bad on most of the 8gs after about 90K miles). The other one I'm not sure if it's called the blend actuator, but it controls the recirculate option on our cars.

If it's the first one, you will have to replace the actuator, and not the door. It's a pain to get to, but you can read this post for more information -
