you're gonna have to troubleshoot. i'd start off with what u have handy. if u can get the car properly jump started try that. or if u have sonme extra gas, try putting some more into the car.

If it's battery and you're still in warranty coverage yes they'll replace it for you.

just to let you know, you can burn out your fuel pump by running it dry

Yeah, fuel acts as a lubricant for you fuel pump. Starving the fuel pump is almost as bad as running the engine out of oil. Try not to let the tank get less than a 1/4.
Its funny as hell you say that b/c think about the dalerships! I mean I just bought my GTZ and it was practically on FUMES when we test drove it. The salesman didn't want to put gas in it and I was like if I am to be buying this then its needs a little fuel. I was like how dumb, the vehicle just came off the trailor and is brand new if probably a gallon in it and he wants to just keep going.....Oh well lesson learned for the guy that ran out of fuel! Hope no damge was done!
:nope:
Out of gas?? Didnt your low fuel light go on?

what really funny is how my ride sometimes has the gas light on when i first start up the car. so i'm thinking i need gas. so on my way to the gas station the light goes off and the gas needle goes back to where it should be. actually spent money on gas when i didnt need it. btw daIllest, your ride is hot. those painted calipers are bright. wow.
When I bought my Accord it was on fumes. They actually expected me to take delivery like that, hehe. I bitched about it and they gave me a $20 to get gas on the way home
Another reason to not let the tank get low is sediment. Any crap sitting in the bottom of your tank has a much higher probability of getting pulled through the line and clogging your filter up if you are low on gas.
you guys have gas lights??? I don't. I never notice that may gas is low.
Sure you do. Maybe your light is burned out, but I'm sure you have a low fuel warning light.Originally Posted by Galant01
