    15" Kicker L7. Box help?

Hey, I've got an '08 15" Kicker L7 and a Power Acoustik BAMF-2000/1D amp. I'm in need of specs for a ported box that won't be too small. My friend's got an Impala with a 3 cubic foot box, and the sub doesn't have enough room. I don't want that to happen to me. The trunk seems really small to me, though.

Forgot to mention I've got an '03...

I dont see how 3 cubic feet isnt big enough for an L7 15...that seems like its about right..possibly jus a hair small...maybe his port isnt right for the sub..

Looks like 3 cubes is the min... good luck trying to fit in 6 cubes if you want the max... lol...

Yeah, I'm aware of the recommended size of the box. I was wondering HOW to design the box to achieve the size. I was hoping for at least 4.5 or so.

i would make a template using cardboard and trace out the trunk. to get the most out of the space you would have to build a box inside the trunk.

Now from experience i can say you should be able to get a 4 cubic foot box in...if each measurement is percise...the box i was haven trouble with was atleast 5 cubic feet an it was REAL close to goin..but jus a hair too much.
