Trans. Problem?

Wassupp guys I have this galant 2001 & idk wats the problem but every time I put it in reverse my car jumps only happen wen u put it in reverse. Maybe you guys can help. A mechanic checked it n seed it was the transmission motor.
How much would it be to fix that tho???

Describe the "jump" My 99 galant used to "jump" or "jerk" a little bit also but i never had a prob with the trans, just a rough transfer

When I start the car it's fine, but when I put it in reverse it jumps forward before reversing. Like it jerks only when reversed. But mechanic seed it's not the transmission it the transmission mount

Its possible man. Just take a look at it, if its worn or cracked i would fix it, and go from there!
