    over heating issues

Lately I've been noticing that my radiator ends up bone dry after a 30 min drive. It never use to do this before until maybe a week ago. Now every morning before I take off I have to fill up the radiator. The coolant tank is also full and the radiator doesn't seem to get fluid from the tank.

idk if this has to do with anything but one time my car was over heating and I was only about two blocks away from home. I decided to drive it home so I turned on the heater to vent away some of the heat. The weird part is that no hot air came out, just normal fan air.

    My guess is the thermostat?

my car has the problem that the water boils, the meter is always in the middle, not heated, but pulls water through the coolant tank.

check the temp sensor. that maybe the problem, the fans need to be always off, only star like 1 minute and get off again

Then what's up with the water disapearing from the radiator?

There's no leaks and all hoses are tight

another cause, maybe a burn gasket, is burning your water throw the exaust.

i'll be replacing those on Thursday

I've never replaced a thermostat before so I need a little help

I found two thermostats. One for 170 degrees and another for 180 degrees. Which one is the right one?

Where is the thermostat located? Is it the connected to the upper or rear radiator hose?

Is there anything complicated about removing the thermostat?

no the thernostat is located the one from the bottom to the top
