New rims, nothing fancy

As some of you may remember I cracked two of my rims last fall. Since then I've been riding on my stock rims.



For the winter, I had some Nitto snow tires which I was actually very impressed with. In the spring, I put on my Falkens which suck, but they have lasted quite a long time (almost 45k miles).

A few weeks ago I found a set of Enkei MM2s which were in bad shape. Bought the rims with tires for cheap, sold the two good tires on Craigslist, and basically got the rims for about $100.

Like I said, they needed alot of work.





The lips on all the rims were just torn up. Two of the rims had some mild curb rash.

After some sanding...



During the sanding, I ordered some Nitto Neo Gens. I know they are only good for 25-30 miles, but thats perfect, because the car will hit 200k miles in 28k. (Time to sell)



So I went to my local auto parts store, bought some wheel paint, and rattle canned these rims.

Oh, the bumper is going to be put back on soon, too.

Looks good I like that style of rims those n the 5 star. I was thinking of fixing up my stock rims but not sure to paint them a different color.

They do, plus I've heard good reviews about them.

But yeah, I've had the car for five years. Five great years, but by winter, it will be time to move on. I make enough cash to have bought an Evo by now, but really I've just loved my car, plus I'm getting older and out of the game. Its time for a newer M3 for me. :)

I like the look of them work came out well. How is the road noise on those tires?

I'm pretty happy with em, no complaints. Not super hard to get em to lose grip in the rain though, but I like em.

Naw, the pic is a little deceiving. If I add a spacer, I might rub even with rolled fenders.

Thanks, road noise isn't bad for the day I've had them haha! And I bought a G because it looked like a BMW but was cheaper. ;)
