    Icon4 Sticky Gas Pedal

    Hey guys,

    I have a 99 G8 V6 that has a pretty sticky gas pedal when the engine is running. By sticky I mean that it is hard to press down when you first turn the car on. Once it gets going, it gets easier to press down on.

    When the engine is off the pedal doesn't stick at all.

    Any ideas? Has anyone seen any other posts here with the same issue?

    Thanks!!!

    i had the same problem ,,, quickly fixed by cleaning the throttle body with some carb cleaner or T.B cleaner, use a rag damped with the cleaner and open the throttle plate to get in the T.B.......... Note;
    engine must b off!!!!
