Help!!

obviously Im a newbie....

im a member of many other car forums but this one sure throws me off...its different! and i cant figure out anything! LOL i dont even see where i can upload pics of my car....

anyway....I just bought my 2004 Black Galant GTS...and im loving her. Bought her because I am now expecting and I needed a bigger car (I also own a 2002 Metallic Silver Mitsu Eclipse GT)

For the profile pic go to "User CP" on the top lefthand corner of the page. You'll see everything you can edit on the left of the page when you click that.

update on the ride:

when i purchased her, the check engine light was on and the dealership was already in the process of ordering and replacing an O2 sensor.....however when i test drove her i could hear this annoying whistleing sound under the hood and made them look into it. Found out today that it was the timing belt....so SCORE that gets fixed at no cost to me!! hahaha! im sure that dealership really hates me...concidering i got the car for below book and now they have over $1000.00 in her in parts, labor and service......

(about $600.00 or so was already put into her by the dealership before i purchased her as regular maintence things like oil change new tires and so on....)


also

when i put insurance on her...it registered her as a GTZ...and shes clearly a GTS. My insurance company says that the GTZ and GTS both have the same Vin???? does this make sense to anyone else cause it sure doesnt sound right to me!

There shouldn't be a trim level GTZ for your G's year. Tell them that its a GTS, regardless of the VIN, and have them print out new ID cards (all in all it really shouldn't matter anyway).

No VIN is going to contain the trim level of a car. Its just a alphanumeric value that lists the manufacturer, where it was made (country and at what plant), what year, the car's id number, etc... but not a trim level.

i looked at the book with her and it said gts and gtz...with the same prefix or whatever of VIN.....i guess reguardless.....insurance is the same price on either trim package.....
