I am 15 and a half and i bought an 01 Galant GTZ. Got it for $2300 from a friend moving back to India. Im taking my permit tests in a short while. I have already driven my bad boy but I can almost drive it legally. Im in California BTW.

Major mods already done:
American Racing Rims (BLEHH)
Cold Air Intake
Flomaster Exhaust
Tinting

Things need to be done:
AC doesnt work

Soon to come:
Lowering
New dashboard LED's
New rims if i can afford it

15 and 3 months old, looking forward to my permit and i have an 01 galant gtz

I should get a status for that, instead of newbie it should say youngest member.... anyways i dont have my "whip" yet, cuz im getting it from a guy whos visa is expriing so he has to use it as his DD til the last week he is here so i get it on like April 1st,

For plans i have a few things in mind...
Gonna Clear the Corners (this isnt illegal is it?)
Replacing dash lights to blue and make the needle transparent
Gonna Lower my car and get new Springs
Get Some Evo rims
Get a junk grill and try a grill mod



Dont worry i will get some nice pics

The people that find our forum are people that are wanting to learn about their cars. Who are we going to advertise to? Honda owners? Ford owners?

So relax, take it easy. TGC has been around since you were learning to walk, and its not going anywhere. ;)

Exactly, this kid was 5, maybe even 4 y.o. when I started TGC back in December 1999. This is what he said to me in a PM (which lead to me banning him).

Quite honestly, I think TGC is doing just fine as is with being well known. We're a small nitch group with our Galants as we're not Honda and don't compete on that level. As for Twitter, I don't like twitter and don't see the point in having a TGC Twitter site.

15. This guy was 5 when I started TGC, and today he told me in a PM that I needed to be "pooped" on because I didn't want him starting a TGC Twitter site. Boy... you need to learn your manners.

One thing I don't like is pushy people, especially a pushy newb that comes here and thinks he can immediately start running things. I Seen this too many times and I'm not going to pussy foot around anymore, especially because of the way he responded to my answer in a PM. If he wants a Galant twitter site, fine, he should start his own with his own naming convention. Be original.

Are you sure you got a GTZ? If I remember correctly, GTZ came with door molding that are drilled into the body and the GTZ stock springs are about +/- 1 inch lower than ES's. And it doesn't come with chrome door linings.

as far as it being an ES, i checked a few pics on google and compared them, and im 99% sure its the GTZ. Plus it has the GTZ label on the back.

No GTZ at all When I bought my G the title said ES/GTZ so I called the dealer and they said it was a ESv6 with the premium package guess its a step below GTZ I got everything a GTZ does minus the leathers spoiler n door panels. But that my friend is not a GTZ. IMO
