I started another thread about compatibilty... because i don't have a v6.. its an i4.. 2.4 liter i think as opposed to the 3.0.... i don't know if my tranny will work on the GTZ... if it does.. actually im not sure if its a 2.4 , or 2.0... any way to find out.. not seeing it on engine cover.. just 16 valve..

I will do my research tomorrow and hopefully get all the specs of both vehichles...

4 banger is slang for the I4. If it's the I4, it IS the 2.4L. I dunno about the tranny, but your best bet would be to swap in a 2G eclipse 5 speed.

You are far better off just swapping in the 5 speed and calling it a day. It will cost more, and take more time to change the I4 over to the GTZ.
