    Looking at drop need advice

I have 18's with a 225/40 size tire. I am looking at some Meagan springs that drop it about 2 inches all around, my rear sags because i think my struts are blown but im not sure. So what do you guys suggest i do? Sorry i prob could have searched this but i need to know asap...

    Thanks Guys

well get new struts 1st or save some money for coilovers
i personally think 18s and meagans might be too much. get teins
or u can just use search button then sitting and waiting for answers

Just save up for adjustable coilovers. Can't go wrong there!

I don't think Megan Springs gave someone a 1 finger gap all the way around. The front of a stock Galant has more than a 4" gap and Megan's have a 2" drop. I have KSports with a 3" drop and still don't have a 1 finger gap.

I have 1 finger drop w/ progress springs but I do agree you'll be more satisfied with coilovers over lowering springs

If it rubs, then you'll need to roll your fenders.

Yeah I'm dropped but I'm a clear example of what not to do lol, I dropped my G before finding this site and well I have garbage DZ sport lowering springs that are bouncy as shit and I'm still with oem struts that are starting to blow, and my rims are 20x7.5 +42 225/35 tires, rear fenders were cut a little but need more cutting.

I would like to install some D2 coilovers but can't make up my mind on spending $900+ on them.

@OP Whats the offset and width of your wheels? Are you rubbing on any way? at full lock?, if you drop you'll most likely have to roll your rear fenders. The offset of the wheels and the width are the factors that can affect if you rub or not, since your tire size is proven to work.

When you drop your g the rear wheels will get negative camber, when look from behind your tires will look like this / \ , this is negative camber and since this will eat your tires on the inside so you may want to get a camber kit to correct this and make them straight again l l
