    New 8G Owner

My name is Jake. Some of you might know my brother here, m-rod. I got rid of my Audi today for a 2001 GTZ. It needs some work, but for the price it's not bad. Needs a transmission, hood and grille.

Welcome Jake! Glad you finally got into the Mitsu game. :)

I can't see the pics because of my work's filter, but I have a stock unpainted hood and an OEM grill in my garage. Have Matt give me a call, I will sell them for cheap if you want them.

This should be fun to fix up. It will be worth it. Which reminds me, we need to get it running so I can make a new sig with the G's and get the Audi out of mine!

Adrian don't say that about my old 74! It would have made a neat end table. Maybe I'll just make a pair of 6G72 end tables ;)

It looks like this car is being parted out. I don't know what is wrong with my brother's photobucket, but the car is getting scrapped at the end of the weekend. We will be dissecting it and I might get a FS thread going. If anybody is interested in anything feel free to pm me and I'll be sure to pull the parts.

Why? What happened to all the plans he was going to do to the galant?

  19. #19
there were some underlying issues involving out of state title pending salvage, inspection, etc that we thought would be cleared up once it was fixed, but the replacement tranny he bought was junk. At that point he's not going to put anymore time or money into it. It's just not worth it, especially since the car appears to have been in 2 accidents.
