I've always liked the 9g. just not the base models. if its a ralliart or gts they are sweet. I like the 8g... but in my opionion mitsu usa really dumped some cheap materials into the 8g. Overall feeling when I used to drive my sisters is that iw as cheap. They have lots of room for potential thanks to leftovers from Mitsu Japan though! the JDM converted 8g's are hot.
Truth be told I'd take a 9g ralliart over a 8g gtz any day of the week.

I always loved the 8g myself. Looked really cool outside but the interior did look and feel cheap. Kind of a letdown. Then I hated the 9gs until '09 when they changed the taillights. I stepped in an '09 and was pleasantly surprised at the interior. I went ahead and bought an '09 in '08 :)

+1 I remember that I could feel every last mile that car traveled when I drove it. Rattles, squeaks and an overall cheap feeling, like you said. Other that that it was pretty reliable and looked hella sexy. Wouldnt mind having a well kept example again.

    I'm a sucker for the 9G/380.

I just built a new big shed to store my collection of them...

With a few mods they come up looking great IMHO
