    New member from VA

Sayin wassup to all the Galant Owners out there. Site is awesome and got some ideas along the way on tricking out my ride. Currently, I have an 8Gen Galant (2002).

My current wheel setup: Drifz Rims (17inch), Tires: 225-50-17. (Pics of the car & rims should be below). Purchase them online at WheelNext.Com.

I saw online rim/package deal at DiscountTire Direct.com. I'm thinking of getting some Konigs Illusion (18) w- 215/40/18 Falken Tires (tires w/package) with also some TEIN Springs to drop it a little. Do you think that would be a nice setup? My shocks/struts are still stock, but Im thinking of getting som KYB GR-2 struts. Its my everyday ride, but I want it looking SICK while in VA!!!!

Googled Konig Illusion. Saw they were knockoffs of Weds SA55. Cried.

    Then left this thread.

Btw your tires are the wrong size

Yeah, that is what came with the wheel package when I got the rims while back... Looking to get new rims in the next few months (between 18 or 19inch).

    K a few things:

    -They're wheels, not rims dawg
    -Buy used non-knockoff wheels
-Wheel/Tire packages suck, especially from WheelsNext/and other smaller ones like that (ie not discounttire/tirerack), no offense

Agree with you on the WheelsNext site. Do you have any suggestions on good sites to get some nice wheels? I saw some cool wheels at Discounttire. I also came accross another site, victoriatires.com in CA. Anyways, looking to upgrade to some new wheels in the next few months.

Like I said go with used wheels

    Good places to look are:

Evolutionm.net (for stock Evolution wheels and stuff)
    Club RSX
    Honda-Tech (omg Honda)

You can find legit wheels for cheapish on those

If you have any fitment questions search and I'm sure you'll find something

As for the Tein springs, good stuff...I had them on my old Galant

Cool, thanks for info. Will check out. Yes, I do like the Tein springs and will get those. Heard good things about them. Hey also, the wheels I meant earlier that I'm possibly looking into was actually the Konig Incident, not the Illusion.

    Konig Incident

Again, will check out sites. Thanks.

.....avoid konig if at all possible, just ask member Reelax if you need an explanation as to why

Welcome to TGC! Nice wheels. I believe the correct tire size should be 215 50 17 or 225 45 17. Just an fyi. Car looks clean though!

@Mrjaydeeone..thanks, Your ride is nice. Like the 2 tone. Is your trunk Carbon Fiber? Nice.
@Keith6110..thanks. Also thanks for the info. When I got the wheels, the size of the tires that came was 225-50-17. I was looking into getting new tires, 225-45-17, but just decided to get new wheels and tires all together in the next few months. More pics to come though...Working on the interior as well.

@joegalant...Cool. Get some pics up... Question for the Galant crew, still looking for wheels, came accross some other ones that caught my eye.

First one that I'm considering cause I like the Silver & Black appeal (Wheels and Car)
    Size: 18 x 7.5 (Katana Wheels)
    Offset: 45
    Bolt: 5 x 114.

    Here are some others one:
All with the same sizes below:
    Size: 18 x 7.5
    Offset: 45
    Bolt: 5 x 114.
    Choice 2- Drag Wheels

    Choice 3- Katana Wheels

    Choice 4-Volante Wheels

Still saw others, but these 4 caught my eye in the beginning...

What part of VA are you from? You can also find really good used wheels on the Vadriven forums.
