for some reason yesterday when i would keep my g in park it will start to slowly lose power and die out.i have no idea what the problem could be

What have you done to it lately? any battery disconnecting?

yea i disconnected the battery to clean the terminals

When? The galants are going to do that for some miles (can't remember how many sorry) after you disconnect the batt, keep driving the car and at a stoplight put the car in neutral and maintain the rpm stable like 700-1000 so it doesn't shut off, it will go away soon, just drive the car as much as possible and it will go away.

it takes 50 miles to clear the eletronics for inspection learned that the hard way cleaned the terminals the day be4 it

My 8g was dieing out while idling to until i found out my intake cracked. So check your intake occasionally.
