The thicker the better, 2 gauge to 4 gauge , Autozone or Kragens sells them for a nice price.

go to advance and just get battery wire its huge and different from normal wiring i wouldnt use normal wiring for this as it tend to get warmer from what i hear. ive got 2 batteries in my trunk run with battery cable and no probs at all it was like 30$ for all the wire too.

this is where i get all my wire from. 5000+ strands of copper in the 0awg flex stuff. this isnt like all 0 gauge, you can make a knot in it with a diameter of 3 inches. its crazy flexible unlike any other 0 gauge ive ever used. i have 4 runs of it in my competition stereo truck and two runs of it in my g for the battery in the back. its all cheap too. def check it out.

I actually use 2 gauge welding wire. You can buy it from any welding supply store fairly cheap. I think its like $4.50 per foot of wire. Same like Kyle described, super super flexible

^^Thats what some car audio guys use welding wire (Although some say it isn't as flexible, you just need to let outside in the sun and it will get flexible):
