Different Starter Sounds

I once changed the starter in my Galant because the one that came with the car when I bought it died on me and i had to replace it. The one that I have on the car makes like a loud cranking noise when I turn it on. I was wondering, are there starters that can like, make a neat kind of sound. Or does it depend on what kind of starter I buy ?

Hmm i'm not too sure if a different brand name = different sound, but I believe mine was an AC Delco starter that was recently installed in mine, my old one was super loud and low pitched slow turnover, the new one has a speedy turnover and a higher pitched, more sporty IMO
