As for painting the insides black, do you mean the housing? You mght be able to go to a yard or something and make an even trade for 20-03 headlights for yours. (they come stock with black housings)
ok so im going to buy hid for my headlights and im going to buy them on ddm.
but as i was shopping i saw this

I did it n did again n color matched them. You need one ballist per bulb. I have 4 ballist.
To open the headlights look here:

Post #6 from member RAZ_76 says the instructions with pics.
Personally I like to use a heatgun since you can control the heat a lil more than with the oven method, Also many members recomend preheating the oven, turning it off and then place the heads inside, don't leave it on while the heads are inside.

ok thanks guys appreciate it. ill do it tomorrow and take pic for everyone
ok so i open them up cleaned them, sanded them and wash them im about to go prime them and then paint them ill put it all back together tomorrow and try to make a tutorial tomorrow for everyone.
first item are code eliminators... don't need them on the 8G since the headlights are not computer cotrolled.
second item is a relay harness... i reccomend it because the stock wiring is not designed to give enough current at startup of the HID's, starving them during ignition... that is bad for the longevity of the ballasts. you only need one relay harness since it will connect to both ballasts and only be activated by one side of the stock wiring (trigger).
btw. in order to retain your high beams when upgrading to HID, make sure to get a hi/ow kit or a bi-xenon kit (preferred); regular H4 HID kits omit the high beam functionality.
thanks reelax. and yea i know i wil be getting the harness and the high/low kit
also i will be getting the hid for my fog lights thanks all
ok guys i put them back together today and taped them so it can stay put. ill be putting some black silicone so it can be better weather proof and dont fog up.
haha they will be up by the end up the night. sorry you have to wait
I don't think the extra silicone is needed, I didn't used any additional glue just heat the glue and press I used a plier to press the edges and they don't fog up at all.

yea i did the same but had some silicone laying around. so why not right?
here are pics installed
idk i saw yours and was like ill just leave it
I ordered mine through DDM, they sent you H4s, if you get Hi/lows they will come with the harness for that, everything is supplied with what you order. No error elim or anything is needed other than the kit itself.
Stays Flossin'
Clear corners look good on black housing IF you paint the corner reflector as well.
