It I'm at 33117 with the 50k extended warranty and the site said this:
    SR-01-005 MAR 01 Recall - A/T Cooler Line Replacement
SR-01-006 MAR 01 Recall - Fuel Tank Replacement
SR-01-003 FEB 01 Recall - Seat Anchor Bolt Defect
SR-01-001 JAN 01 Recall - Fuel Return Hose Replacement
SR-00-009 NOV 00 Recall - Floor Harness Routing

can I take it up there with this list and request these?

I have the 100K extended warranty with a $50 deductible. My dealership will do almost anything if you bring it up.

    i have i4 (that sucks)
and my car is 99 with 34k miles. does that still work?

Sorry, the guy said only V6's with under 36,000 miles qualify

    Make : MITSUBISHI Model : GALANT Year : 2002
    NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID Number : 02V147000 Recall Date : MAY 28, 2002
    Component: ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING:FRONT UNDERHOOD
Potential Number Of Units Affected : 3378
    Summary:
ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, ROUTING OF THE VEHICLE'S FRONT HARNESS CAN ALLOW IT TO COME IN CONTACT WITH A ROUGH EDGE, ALLOWING ABRASION. THIS COULD RESULT IN GROUNDED CIRCUITS.
    Consequence:
THERE COULD BE A LOSS OF STOP OR TURN SIGNAL LAMP OPERATION OR ENGINE HESITATION.
    Remedy:
DEALERS WILL INSTALL A PROTECTOR, ELIMINATING ANY HARNESS CONTACT. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN JULY 8, 2002. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT MITSUBISHI AT 1-800-222-0037. Notes:
CUSTOMERS CAN ALSO CONTACT THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION'S AUTO SAFETY HOTLINE AT 1-888-DASH-2-DOT (1-888-327-4236).

I DONT KNOW IF THAT GUY WHO $300 TO REPLACE HIS SIGNAL HAS A 2001 MODEL, BUT IM SURE YOU COULD CALL THAT NUMBER AND FIND OUT IF THERE REALLY WAS A RECALL ON THE HARNESS.

I HAVE AN '03 4 CYL. AND SO FAR IT LOOKS LIKE THEY HAVE NOT RECALLED ANYTHING YET. THE ONLY MODEL WITH RECALLS THIS YEAR TO DATE IS THE MONTERO. SO FAR, SO GOOD.

    I have a 2001 galant v6. i have 30150 miles. i have had the car for 30 mos.
I call the dealership about the brake juddering. You know what they tell me? 12 mos or 12,000 miles.
I call corporate. You know what they tell me? It's up to the dealership to determine if things are under warranty (ie implying that my driving has caused the rotors to warp. alright!?!) Also it's up to the dealership to decide if they want to cover it under warranty or not.
The warranty booklet doesn't mention the rotors to be exclusionary like the pads are (ie 12 mos or 12,000) miles. One would think that it would be covered under the new car warranty.
Of course, it's a fact all galants have crappy rotors. Customer satisfaction in this economy? From my impression: who cares.
Here's another item: why aren't there any rotors (front) for v6's? it seems you have to get rotors that match up to eclipses to get anywhere. brembo has rear cross drilled rotors, but no front ones. same thing with stillen. huh?!?
Any suggestions? People at work hear what's going on with my vehicle:
    transmission line recall
    wiring harness recall
    overhead light falling off
    tranmission surging
    battery failing
    spark plug failing
    all 4 rotors warped
all 4 steel wheels replaced because they got bent by potholes at 20mph (the new alloys held up over those same potholes at 45mph)
check engine light came on twice (no mods on vehicle)
car keys needing to be reprogrammed after battery was replaced
    engine idling roughly
all within 30,000 miles and 30 months
    I LOVE THIS CAR!!
Anyway, after my co-workers heard all this, one of them was even afraid to rent one at a car rental!
    ?!?
    :?
