I think being the front suspension spring and mount is so big you will need coilovers. I am currently try to get my evo wheels on (18x8.5 +38). I believe I'm going to need to roll my fenders and put on some coilovers.
Just wanted to throw out my plan and see if you guys think it will work.
AYB AGX/Tein combo
18x8.5 +37 wheels
Evo Brembo's
Now I am concerned that my wheels will not fit without coilovers, just wanted to see if anyone had similar specs and suspension.

What brand/make of wheel? That will make all the difference.
If you post stupid and incorrect information, you will get red nuggets.
I was on evo wheels which were 17x8 +38 so somewhat similiar specs width and offset wise with beefy tires on tein AGX for a while, no rub on the struts, what size tires you running?

00Galantguy had 18x8.5 +35 on his G without coilovers. Though, I am not too sure if he rubbed or not.
its either the work wheels or RPF1's but I see RPF1's too often. I could play it safe and go 18x8 +35 RPF1.
I might be going with RPF1s soon here, but either 17x8.5 +30 or 17x9 +22

That offset and width should fit just fine. I'd run it with a 225/40R18, and rolled fenders.
You should be good with that setup as long as the wheel is designed right to clear the brembos, but you will have to roll you rear fenders.
