    evo 17x8

    i am looking at some evo rims. size 17x8. i am dropped 2 inch all around fenders rolled, would i have any problems?? i think the dude said they were a 40 or higher offset cant remember at the moment..

    38 offset....and you should fine...what size tire will you run?

    If they are the stocks off of an Evo they have a +38 offset.

    the ideal tire sizes are either 235/45/17 or 225/45/17...55 will be too tall of a tire

    so pretty much its a no go? ha ha the guy says they are a plus 45 offset and tire size is too tall? my fenders are hella rolled in the rear, would i have any problems with rubbing up front or in the rear?

    Dude are those wheels stock evo rims, if so there offset is +38, if he says anything different he doesn't know what the F**k he has.

    Look on the back of the wheels and the offset is stamped back there.

    what are you talking about? The Evo wheels WILL fit since your rear fenders are rolled already. You just need a smaller tire, not the 225/55/17.. those are way too big. The main reason for this is the allow the speedometer to read correctly (and also actually for clearance with the suspension). You can use Evo wheels and other tires. Do you have to buy them together as a package or something?

    they are stock evo 9 wheels. ha he prob dosent know.. alright well ima get them, ill post pics up as soon as i get them.

    yeah rims and tires, i could just sell those tires and get different ones
