    Hi everyone

    Hello everyone, my name is Russ. I just picked up a 2001 Galant LS. Was looking for something reliable and not expensive, and Galant has good reviews on Edmunds. Looking to spend some time around here to get more familiar with the car. I'm a DIY type a guy and from my experience at other forums they are usually very helpful, and make working on the car alot easier. I like the car so far pretty simple inside, but I guess less complex means more reliable, as there's less things to break. Hoping this car will serve me well for the next few years.

    Lol I'm still a noob when it comes to plenty of things. You wouldn't happen to come out to bridgeview alot would you? I just told a guy about tgc and he had a rusty ls lol.

    Welcome to TGC! I think you'll be overall pretty satisfied with the galant as long as you keep up with normal maintenance.
