    2003 8G Galant ES

Hey guys, My dad is offering me his Galant for my Jeep and I think I am going to take him up on the offer, I drove the car and it was very fun to drive. I am going to put my amp and sub from my Jeep into the Galant and the Head Unit and I was wondering if there are any install guides for that.

Also are there alot of issues with these cars? The carfax was clean for the car and its in excellent condition.

    Thanks for the help guys!

Update: Is there an area I can run a ground easily in the trunk? and is it possible to have 6x9 speakers in the front doors or back deck? I work at Best Buy so I get great deals on car stuff so in the end I want to to have 4 speakers are are amped then the sub and a remote start if I can install it myself.

NO. 6x5 on the front and 6x9 on the back. You could get the tweeter covers from the v6 GTZ so you could put tweeters on the front doors.

Nice def gonna go with the tweeters in the front, I'm not the best with car electronics but I learn pretty quick. How would I go about setting up something like this?

And I just got the deck installed and it looks pretty clean, hopefully I'll be able to tackle the amp install tomorrow morning. I'll get pics asap.

You can ground the amp under the rear seat. Its what I did, just make sure you sand the paint from the metal for a clean connection.

Scratch that on the deck install, I had power for a moment but none now. I have red wire to red wire which is 12v ignition power with the blue and white radio power running to that as well as the blue amp wire, I had the radio grounded on the bolt the bracket slides into way back in the dash and it worked for a moment but then when I snapped the trim piece back on I had no power. Any ideas?

    EDIT

I think its the fuse, I plugged the stock radio back in and still no power so I'm gonna get some new fuses tomorrow.

    EDIT #2

It was the fuse! I got it out of the stupid little yellow holder (what is the point of that thing) and replaced it and it works! Now I'm gonna finish up the amp install and hopefully be able to bump a little by tonight.
