Did wiring harness, now no spark

Does anyone know if logically in a 2004 galant ES Mivec I would have to have anything flashed at the dealer for it to start? Right now it gets no spark. Everything was fine before the wiring harness swap, except the trans was stuck in "limp mode" which is why we had to do the swap... some wiring was fried. Same PCM and Same old ECU. thrown for a loop here so please help

If the wiring was fried, there is a GOOD possibility that the PCM/ECU is fried as well. Test out the ECU.

Logically, if you think about it, if the wiring harness was fried by flyback voltage, too much voltage, etc. the ECU would be donezo as well. I'd look into that.

where did you get the new wiring harness? I wouldn't think you'd have to reflash the ECU for the immobilizer when replacing the harness, but you never know with these cars.
