and i got my CAI today i have it on it sounds amazing for 30 bucks. i will have pictires up tomarrow

that is not a CAI (cold air intake), that is a short ram intake (SRI)... a CAI locates the filter to below the drivers side headlight like this:

see where the filter is? the whole point of a cold air intake is to locate the filter outside of the engine bay (where the air is "hot").

But isnt it in a way bad for the engine with a cai?

^X2 yeah my buddy had one aem also and it sucked up depree and it got into his motor and how ever many miles after it blew??
