    Definitely not to save weight. It's to lessen the rotating mass and to also not struggle with routing the downpipe for the Turbo cuz its interferes with it since its right there next to it.

    Now that's a sensible reason, Im on the fence about doing it though because I frequent drives to Arizona, and that Sonoran Desert is ridiculous to drive through without A/C; temps of up to 120 degrees. I want to be able to drive my G out there if I want to during the Hot Season...

    well the A/c has no drag when it is not on since it is a clutch pump. So when you are not running it, there is no drag and my thought is just make up for it in extra power

    Ac delete is all in one performance gain. First u taking off about 30lb off the car. Second you will put less heat on the engine bay. Fucking compressor puts a lots of heat. Third you freeing up more rotation to the crank due to the shorter belt. So i think if is a really no need to use it so why not. Fyi sorry the ac on the i4 suck ass.

    Bought a Talon exhaust today for my G, gotta get a downpipe since the previous owner did some cutting and welding and is no good anymore. Also gotta get some money saved up to get a nice muffler.

    Look, I know you program. It's been a while since I looked at some computer code, but I'll put it in terms you can understand:

    Code:
    boolean AC;
    var greg;
    var greg's home;
    var greg's car;
    var greg's car's performance;
    var old turbo;
    var new turbo;

    if greg's car = built monster;

        while greg's home = Mid-Atlantic Region;
            while greg = fatass;
                AC = true;

            if greg's car's performance = slow;
                new turbo > old turbo;

    else AC = true;
    In other words, if it's slow, throw a bigger turbo on it and keep the AC!!!
    LOL
