What happens when tap water is used to dilute concentrate antifreeze. I always fill on straight 50/50 which is already mixed with distilled water, yea I have to but 2 gallons rather than 1 but hey, out of 3 mitsus 0 have had that orange rust looking stuff in tbe cooling system.

Not sure what it does, but iirc the chlorine rusts the inside or some shit. When you buy straight antifreeze it says to use distilled water instead of tap.

Searched around for ya and came up with this:

I don't know about "BAD" I guess it would depend on your tap water. If you live somewhere with lots of stuff in the water (Iron, calcium, or at a PH extreme) using tap water would be bad. Using distilled water ensures that you are not putting water that contains stuff that will clog, rust, oxidize, etc your engine's cooling system.

Dude once you have that orange shit and it overflows into your overflow or god forbid your radiator got old and the top plastic tank springs a leak....you will want to sell your car or replace the every part that has anything to do with the cooling system...the rustiness on mine got sooo bad that it ate the propellers on my water pump lmao..I wish I had a pic. Needless to say I sold it..

If calipers are stock, I go black or silver. No need to show off small stock equipment.

The shades of gray was looking kind of dull to me so I decided to put some life into my car with the yellow caliper paint. Idk I like how it turned out so far

I finally got some Evo IX wheels I've been eyeing up but I need to strip it of the black paint from the previous owner. Still I got them for a steal so I can deal with the crappy look for now, hopefully Wed and Thurs it doesn't rain since I have those days off.

pulled the motor, still have a few things to pull from this old shell, mostly 5speed parts, and its off to the scrap yard she goes, this shell is a lemon if your all wondering, its been in 5 wrecks, no airbags, and frame damage beyond repair,

im keeping the motor for a rebuild till i find another Galant, not sure if ill do a fully built motor or just clean it up and freshen the motor up with new seals and gaskets, im doing some research to see what i can do and see what the evo guys are doing to the 4g64 block

i like to here your thoughts on the subject
    MODS

    5 speed swap
Eibach Pro Kit on GR2 Struts

    6G72 V6 Fuel Pump
    Axle Back Exhaust (ebay)
    Evo Fuel Rail
    Evo Radiator
    Rear Disc Swap
    Prothane Motor Mount Inserts

im getting 25mpg city and 30mpg highway untuned!!!
