Painted my grille black. Going to eventually strip and repaint, with a brighter red for the logo and maybe angle grind off the middle thin pieces.

Remove the thin fins but leave the center part. I always thought that was a good look.

Also ran across this resonator but not sure if you wanna spend that on a resonator. The price would seem resonable for a muffler as a finishing piece, but I dunno for a part no one would see lol. Thank you. Yeah that's what I'm leaning toward. I might paint the lower portion of the front bumper - that plastic bar going across, and maybe underneath it I'm not sure, we'll see with the wheels on.

I just don't know any write ups on how other people have done it and I don't feel like repainting the bumper.

There was a write up on it a while back, but didn't really tell you much on How to fill in the gaps it leaves.

It's possible to cut that bar out, fill the holes and repaint Only that section (not the whole bumper). You will need to take the bumper off the car obviously and do some fiberglass work from the backside. It's do-able. I did it on my old silver G

I have that now. Riding around with a temporary 99-01 bumper and I cut the bar and didnt fill anything. There are two 1.2-2" half circles on both sides of the bumper. Doesnt bug me now bc I know Im changing the bumper soon... but some people want it cleaner.

I've seen people just paint it black so you can't see it as obvious.

Or you take the longer route and fill in the half circle... If you DIY it's worth it. I wouldnt pay a shop for that though.

If I decide to do anything to it, it'll be paint. I don't want to risk cutting the only bumper I have so I like to take my time with things.
