Yesterday I got rid of my fkn fuel leaking crappy fuel pipe :D

In some weeks I have been thinking what it can be..
Yesterday when we swapped the rear axel out we found it!

I think it's broken, good thing to have spare-car..

Accidentally backed into a light pole last night.. Didn't see it at all. Luckily there was no damage cause I was barely moving. I then noticed that the reverse lights hardly illumintate anything.. I don't know if it's just my G, but has anyone else noticed their reverse lights not do much at all?

Well you have and 8GB which lights up much better than an 8GA. Try switching to the silverstar bulbs offered in most parts stores (there's always the LED route too), also try removing the grid lines by reaching for them with a pick tool its just a stick on deal.

Buy something like this that i got!

    Really tiny.

    Gives out 840 lumen :)
To compare, a 55 halogen is around 1000 lumen, so not far away,
Have helped me alot, becouse of tinted windows.. 5%.. kinda dark.

I got it from the junkyard. Took me a couple trips to different yards just to find an unbroken one.

Wish I knew that before I did mine...I butchered it with regular paint and the top layer by the speedometer came up and idk why...well time to buy a new dash. Mine had a crack in the middle anyway.
    Bought from crzygtz,deeznutz, dominicano, finald8ta, Galantman03, G-Spot, Isaurio, jonk8123, M-Rod, and specter6633

I'll look for the grid thing once i get home, had no idea about that. I read mixed reviews on the LED reverse lights being brigther or not, and I saw some people say to put HIDs in the reverse lights instead?? Oh and happen to know the reverse bulb size off the top of your head? I can't find my Hayes manual and my online source didn't list reverse light bulb size

Yeah, the reverse light never satisfied me on the Galant, 8ga was the worst, 3rd gen probably the best, 8gb ok. Once you drive something with a decent one it's kinda sad. My other car, I always doublecheck when I back up, bc the reverse lights are so good, I think there's an other car behind me.

One thing I want to try on my next set of 3rd gens is to wire them up like usdm (turning signal = outer red) and use both clear sections as reverse.

I picked both the hood and trunk lid second hand for 400 off of Craigslist but I looked them up online there about 600 new a piece depending on what web site you go through.
