Yes it's an 8g. These are the two kits you need for the rear spindles. They're intended for a 2g eclipse. Mine was a 99 ES with a 6G72, but swapped to 4G64 5 speed

13-2002 is the kit number I purchased for front and rear lower control arms, rear trailing arms, front and rear sway bar bushings, and rear upper control arms. The two kits in the picture are for the 3 bushings that mount in the rear spindles on each side.

Finished collecting parts at the junkyard, found a nice 3g eclipse steering wheel w/ buttons on the back, also got the clockspring, all from 2003 models. Also found a 2004 Acura TSX, got that nice looking exhaust tip, gonna look great on my fresh upgraded tail :P

On the other hand, steering wheel remote interface and new Pioneer head unit is on the way~ on top of what I have now, Bluetooth, flac and .m4a support, steering wheel control support, 13 band EQ, 2 rows display... this 6900BT shall be a good one, cross my fingers

Ended up going to pick a part and got the whole taillight assembly, passenger power mirror(donor was silver mine is Titanium Pearl), wiring pigtail for the fan, AC compressor connector, and a red and silver badge for the trunk lid. After work today I'll be dealing with the wiring. I also got the plastic cover for the inside trunk release. Gonna go back this weekend, pick a part in Ontario, CA has a 40% off sale and I was eyeing some fake wood trim for the door panels and shifter. Might try to snag a 3g steering wheel.

Yesterday I installed a steering wheel from an 03 3G at pick a part and put the radio head unit from a Lancer in. Turns out I have a shorted speaker, so that explains why the Kenwood keeps flashing 'Protect'. Gonna get some cheap Walmart Boss Audio front speakers next paycheck. They're 300w.

Ended up buying a new tire for the passenger front because the used tire I bought (Bridgestone Potenza) was already down to the steel cords. Only put close to 3,000 miles on it! Got a cheapo Primewell tire for now. Previous owner put 225/45R17s on it with Motegi FF7 black rims.
