Icon5 DIY in/out tie rods, possible?

Both of my inner and outer tie rods from both sides need to be replaced in order to get my car aligned. I dont have enough money for labor, but i do for some extra cash for tools that I might need.

So if this is something I can do myself, what do i need tool wise? I went to autozone and they told I need:

    Tie rod arm puller:

    Tie rod end separator:

    Tie rod end puller:

Is this all I need? and can I pull this off?

a mini sledge does the job for all the of those..but you will need a crows feet for the inner tie rods..check the tutorial sections it has a detailed description of whatcha need

I would get a second opinion also. You pretty much have to bend those to need replacements.

I'd rather have the knowledge and ability to do it than the money to buy it already done.

all those links you posted are the same tool. Ball joint seperators, and they have nothing to do with tierods really. l nice hammer does the trick.

Not how fast your car goes but how good u drive going fast.

For the inners i suggest a big ass pair of pliers. If its simalar to a 7g thats the easiest way to do it. Turn the wheel to all the way to the left for the right side and all the way right for the left side. Lock em down and go at it.
