    Scott's 2010 Dodge Challenger SE 3.5L V6

Well, I just want to say that since I learned so much about cars here, I don't plan on leaving. I still have the Galant and I enjoy these forums and they load much faster than the forums specific for my car. So I am creating this thread for the progress of my new toy as much as welcoming some opinions. I will say this right off the bat, I have a 6 year warranty and car payment. I am not lowering it or doing anything crazy to end up voiding the warranty that I do have.

This was two days before I picked it up:

This is the night I picked it up, the only good picture I have

    Bored heading out for work

    ^It needs Fogs

I have a few ideas of the extras that I would like to do:

I really think I want to add some sort of stripe, but I have no clue what kind.

    1. Chrome Gas Cap
    2. Small stock lip spoiler
    3. 20" Foose Wheels - Chrome
    4. Fog Lights

I noticed a crack in a piece along the window. I am so annoyed by it and I want the dealer to put a new one in. Going to contact them as soon as I have a minute. You spend this much money on a new car and expect it to be completely fine.

Thanks for looking and your comments/suggestions/opinions are welcomed for the ideas already lined up or ideas of what else to add.

I want either these foose nitrious:
    http://www.wheelsforless.com/detail.aspx?ID=2942

    or these foose legend
    http://www.wheelsforless.com/detail.aspx?ID=6863

I am personally leaning towards the nitrious. They look more like the Classics on the Classic R/T and the Legend's spokes seem to be too wide. They don't look good on this mustang

I know the mustang has a different stance than the Challenger, but I think they are just too guady compared to the nitrious. Opinions are welcomed.

I like the nitrious over the legend. Are you going with HID fogs? I think swapping the stock bulbs for HIDs will look great visually and be easier to see at night. 4500-5k color wise IMO

I agree about the wheels, so it will be Nitrous over Legend for sure, as for the heads and fogs, I was just going to buy stock fogs and have them installed at a dealer. I don't want to do anything that they can say "it was your fault" come warranty fixing time, I don't know how the HIDs would effect that

HIDs should not void your warranty.

Thanks guys. There was a minor set back right now but I am just going to keep the focus of the way I want to see this go when I can get back on track

Are you looking at the shifter it self or the base around it?

  12. #12
The whole assembly. It would add a nice touch to the interior.

I wonder how hard that would be to install, would that hurt any sort of warranty?

  14. #14
Pistol grip wouldn't be bad either. Too bad part of the shifter rod is exposed.

That one looks a little better than the ball, but I do like that piece around it in the first one, I'll have to see what BilletTech offers for the Challengers compared to the Chargers

Mopar has factory coilovers you can buy. They can be installed by a dealer and you can keep any warranties. Check out some Challenger forums...

Look at some of the Challengers that are dropped...they look sick!
