Like I said when I spoke with you last week, im down to help but im not much of a V6 person in terms of timing belt and what not. Deeznutz would probably be the best for that since he knows the V6 well.

The bumper he posted looks like the SVR-4 that VIS sells. Its essentially an old style JDM front with the SVR4 lips molded into it already and its all made of fiberglass.

Deez, I've never taken out a v6 before, can you remove it thru the top with the tranny still attached? If you can, its probably easiest to swing the motor/tranny out together, have you working on the t-belt and the rest of us working on swapping to 5 speed.

Stewi you should be Able to remove it from the top with the right angle, I did mine from the bottom much easier this way. As for the t belt and water pump I'm on it!!! The 5 speed is a Lil different on the 6 because it has a pull style pressure plate not the push style like the 4. Have to snap in a clip on throw out bearing after trans is mounted can be a pain in the ass but I got the trick...

Sorry for late reply had to take care of a few things so no internet time.....I will Serve Chicken, Beef Ribs and another meat. Im in queens by hillside as stated above will be at private house with two car drive way about 4.5 cars length long not including garage. Heres a Pick so you get an ideah

My car is sitting in tthe middle of the drive way as you can see there is plenty of room. i have two air compressors the small one and a tall stand up one. we will be pulling the motor and tranny out from the black 8g and just the motor from the grey 8g. i have no problem with anyone that is helping fixing any of their cars i just ask that we not pull any other motors till after we put my 1st motor back in just to avoid having my pops flip seeing 3 motors out at one time.

Well how bout you do the timing on say his car and mine or whatever and we do everything else :)

Im all in on the 5spd swap since I know that like the back of my hand, you can do the timing and whoever else can pick what they know how to do. What day you wanna do this cuz its getting cold and if you ask Chris(mko) a 5spd swap in the dead of winter is crazy but can be done.

And I cosign with Stew its better to take out the whole engine and trans especially cuz you going 5spd.

Not how fast your car goes but how good u drive going fast.
