    My Old and New ride

Well, some of you know that I sold my 8G a few months back. Loved that car to death, but I took the opportunity to do some traveling with the money I got for it. Hope the new owner is loving as much as I did.

A week ago, I picked up a new ride. '97 Kouki 240sx. 97xxxx miles on it, no rust, 4 disc brakes, 4 lugs, 2 sets of wheels, Old man driven (he was an ASE mechanic).... needless to say, I got it for a steal and it runs like a champ! I won't be starting any modification anytime soon, except for the stubby antenna I just put on.

Thanks to the Galant community. I'll still be popping back in now and again.

Those spots on the car are just reflections from the wall. Some minor dings here and there still. Also came with a bunch of State Trooper and Air force stickers on it, lol.

Nice 240. I know you said you don't plan on doing anything to it soon, but what are the overall plans?

Seeing as your G was very clean and tasteful, I'm excited to see what becomes of your 240 in the future. Best of luck with the new car!

Jon! Awesome to hear from you. I'm digging the 240. I've always loved how mean the front end looks on these cars.

I'm going to be in Chicago next weekend if you didn't see the thread I posted. You should come out to party this weekend! :)

Yeah! That's what first caught my attention to these S14 models, haha.
Hit me up with a message or text when you're in.

    Thanks for the feedback guys.

In the long run, I would like to do the S20 / 5 speed swap, or at least the 5 speed / turbo on this KA engine. Theres a few bolt on kits out there.

We'll see how fast I can get towards that stage... but for now I just need a daily.

Nice, very clean. I luv 240's! I had two S13's, but if I was to get another 240 it would be one of these S14's. My only problem here is that your S14 is 4 Lug, IIRC only S13's were 4 lug & all S14's were 5 lug...

    I say go for either the KA-T, Q45, VK56DE, or VQ35DE swap.
