Wired my radio.... now tail/dash lights out?

Well, today I decided to hook up an aftermarket JVC radio instead of attempting the Infinity install.

I hooked up the radio to the power, ground, and speakers. However, there are 2-3 extra wires left, and I'm not too sure what they do. Apparently the silver/green one is the dimmer, and there's a black/yellow one.

When I turn on the lights, the dash lights are off, and the right taillights and parking light is off, but the headlights, signals, and brake lights work.

Is it a bad ground, short, etc?

I thought it might be that... I checked some of them and they seemed fine, but the fuse box covers dont have clear markings as to which is which. It was dark though, so I'll check tomorrow.
