Trip odometer, clock, and radio presets keep resetting

    Hey all,

I just noticed recently that my trip odometer, clock, and radio presets keep resetting sometimes whenever I turn the car on. Has anyone had this problem before? I'm guessing it's either a fuse or battery problem but I'm not sure where to begin...

    Thanks!

EDIT: Also, I think I might have posted in the wrong forum.

The power wires on the stereo are hooked up to the wire that controls all of those things and it's not constant, that's why it resets everything, every time. Need to find a constant power wire to tap into, something that has constant power at all times. That's what happened to me, had a guy at a shop do my work because I was lazy and that happened. That's how I fixed it.

Hmm, the only constants I can think of are the brake lights, and the battery itself. My new radio does that, but I'm too lazy to deal with it because the radio already has issues of its own ;\.

That would not allow any power if it was blown out, not reset everything every time. When the two 10amp fuse blew out under the hood, I had no stereo at all.
