Thank You! I'm stretching. 225/40. And im high enough and rolled enough previously for it not to rub. Also my sc400 is waaay lower and on similar specs so im used to driving to avoid rubbing ;)

FWD cars or cars that use FWD offset aka 35-45ish are considered High offset wheels of which the Galant and SC400 use.
You now have medium offset(20-34) on the high offset cars and then there is low offset(0-19)
Most newer BMWs use medium offsets, my old bimmer had high and my old montero had low. I know my wheels :)

I hear you. I'm bout to get my wheels sitting right too, with a spacer in the back and some coilovers for a little more low.
