    putting new lifters need torque specs

    so i bought new lifters now i need the torque specs tighten it up ive searched here and on google and nothing

    Not completely sure I will have to check when I get home but I think it is 18ft/lbs. PM Stewi he would know.

    i don't have alldata, haynes manual doesn't help, dealer they at lunch or dont pick up trust ive done all i can lol

    N now the balance shaft belt keeps being eaten up :(

    yeah if anyone has an idea let me know i think the top gear gets stuck as the other rotates

    are we talking rocker shaft bolts? if so, 22-23 lb/ft

    Hayne's manual says 22ft-lbs.Read over 2A-12,13 for balance shaft belt removal and installation procedure.

    Hayne's says 23ft-lbs and this is the order you tighten them

    5-3-1-2-4
    start in the center and work your way to the outside.

    Thats what I did and everything was fine.....except for that other part with the piston.lol
