94-98 manual transmission.

I was looking for a galant manual transmission for my friend on ebay, and I saw that they are talking about 94 manual tranny and 95-98 manual tranny.
My question is, is the 94 tranny diffrent from the 95-98?
And can a galant tranny bolt on a 6 bolt engine?

well the 94 GS tranny has a different number on it, but it will work on any 7g Galant. Other than that 94-98 manual trannies are the same and will bolt to 6 bolt engine
