Cabin Filter....do I have one or not?

2004 Galant LS 3.8L engine...tried to locate the cabin filter behind the glove box but I do NOT see any thing that looks like a filter or even something that holds a filter....I don't think there is one!!

Am I correct? Any help is appreciated!!

I have a cabin filter in my '09. Don't know where it is. Never looked. I just know from reading the specs.
