I suggest not blowing the speakers every few months.

Why are you blowign speaker every few months? That cannot be a just you thing, there must be a reason. Are you putting too much power to the speaker, then you may need to get higher powered speakers or turn down the AMP. I have had speakers for 5+ years in some cars and never blew any. Some cones dry rotted out but never blown. Me personally run JL Audio all the way through an have been happy with them. Had a pair of W3 subs that the suspension dry rotted because I have had them since 2000. Their amps are great, had a 300/4 and a 500/1 since 2001. I recently sent both back to JL Audio and they refurbished them for $150.00 each, the RCA connections were loose on the board so they replaced the boards. I know they are expensive but after the initial purchase I spent $300 in 10 years to do any kind of repair. I think that is good quality, plus I did not have a receipt for anything but they still fixed it.

forget fosgate, their quality has just gone down. Look at Infinity Kappa, Polk Momo, JL, etc

I can't remember what model, but mine HIT. I blew my amp, and used those with bass, and they hit hard no problem. Best speakers i've owned

In the G i had before this one i had a 6.5 kicker component system with kicker 6x9. All DS series with a kicker 350.4 amp. The guy who wired it up at the shop bridged the wires and everyone said it sounded like i had a system in the car.

How does someone blow speakers every couple months?

When I replaced speakers I just changed out the fronts for some Polks. Felt good man.

See Dave knows whats up....The Hex series will destroy Kappa's any day. Trust me, its worth the extra money. If you want sound like you are in the studio with the musicians....these are them! If I had the money at the time I got my Quarts I would have bought these instead!

What???.. Nahh.. i'm very very happy with the sound quality Infinity kappa delivers. I had heard some great brands and is no comparison of the SQ the Kappa's. They are the same company"Harman International" that makes JBL speakers. If you want some import and you want to spend money get some Focals speakers.
