    correct! shouldn't really get too hot power only passes thru when starting only. make sure you made a good connection

    alright thanks i prolly had a short found a bad wire down the line that i fixed later but wasnt sure if it was cause i connected those 2 or not gonna go hook them together for good now its a real pain having to connect and disconnect them all the time XD.
