I think you have to disable the DRLs

Bulb could be bad or the ballast is bad. N it doesn't matter if they are new. It happens.

it's the DRL's. DRL's supply 1/2 power to the bulbs when the headlights are off... ballasts hate this. once the DRL's are disabled, all will work as intended (except u will no longer have DRL's).

remember 9G's come equipped w/ DRL's from factory.

DRL = Daytime Running Lights. the flickering is usually caused by under-powering the ballasts. DRL's give 1/2 the power of normal and that's why the ballasts were flickering the HID.

I'm running the ralliart with projector beams, will those kits be a direct swap? I'm curious in getting some HID's for my car (looking for 55W hi/lo)

    Thanks,

it got into the wire harness and the relay and completely rusted the relay. can any one tell me if i disabled it right or my kit is just not working right?

My hid flickered every time I release the handbrake. Hid was not getting constant power from the stock wiring. Bought a drl bypass wiring harness for 20 bucks and it fixed the flickering. Only thing is no more drl

Does the 9g/2012 have DRL? How come I don't have any?
