I dont believe you can swap a JDM engine into a USDM specific vehicle, unless you plan on doing a full RHD to LHD conversion. Someone correct me if i am wrong.

motor sits totally different, lots of custom fabrication is needed for that. if your v6 go get a 6g74 or 6g75 if you want to do an engine swap.
Yes, that is if you want to spend about $5000 just to get the motor to fit and wired to your car. Excluding the cost of the motor itself.
Yeah go get a 75 and you'll have the same power minus the turbo lag. You will also have spare parts available so much easier!!!
