2000 Galant V6 with 165000 Miles, what next ?

Hi,

My Galant has hit 165k.
I do alot of driving !!
What can I do now to ensure my car will go the long haul?
I always keep an eye on my fluids and change the oil and filter on time every time.

The V6 motor still runs strong and leaks/ uses no oil.

What can I do to ensure my car stays running well, at this point?

make sure the timing belt and water pump are changed at the recommended interval,which is every 60,000 miles.

Just follow all recommended service changes/repairs at correct millage and dates.

I'm changing the water pump and timing belt now.
Hope a full tune up isn't that difficult

a tune isnt that hard,just make sure you dont get the wires mixed up.pull the wires off one at a time so you dont mess up the firing order.
